Cameron began promoting gigs in 2016 when he launched the Isle of South Uist Folk Club while studying for his BA Applied Music Degree. His efforts for this venture were recognised by his university who awarded him the Student of the Year Award and also by the organisers of the Stonehaven Folk Festival who put him in charge of bookings for their festival club. In 2018 Cameron setup the popular jam at Stravaigin in Glasgow (which still runs every second Tuesday) while promoting secret and intimate concerts around the city. In 2021 Cameron joined Aberdeen’s popular Foodstory cafe to promote events and since then has become the booker and promoter of 200 capacity arts venue St. Margaret’s programming a range of events including the Braemar Folk Festival.
